GULF OF MEXICO OIL SPILL May 7th, 2010
The fight to contain the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico continues, with efforts today to put a large chamber over the site in order to pump the oil to the surface. Oiled birds, turtles, fish and seastars are washing up on the coast and the weather is not helping officials and volunteers manage the slick.Click here for more pictures of the oil spill.

Canada's air travel industry is losing up to $4 million a day on flights grounded by volcanic ash. Air Canada is losing about $2.6 million a day, and each day there are 36 grounded flights that would otherwise be flying to Europe.
