Did you hear....

Petra Majdic of Slovenia fell off the course during a training run prior to competition in the ladies cross country event. She went on to compete in a number of qualifying runs that day, as well as the medal finals. She won the bronze medal for her country.

The amazing part of this story, she broke four ribs and had a punctured lung and still competed in her preliminary race and the final. Petra could not even get onto the podium to accept her medal without her coaches help. AMAZING!
